Anyone? Someone?  

I started reading Song Of Ice And Fire series about 2 weeks ago, currently on the end of the third book, altough I preffer science fiction.

Some good reads I had:

Frank Herbert, Dune series
Lois McMaster Bujold, Vorkosigan saga
Isac Asimov, Foundation series and more
Everything I could find from A. Clarke
Aldous Huxley, "Brave New World"
George Orwell, "1984" and "Animal Farm"

I've been meaning to read the series but never got around to it since I'm reading other books
If you like the fantasy genre I recommend
The Black Magician Trilogy, and if you like those read the sequel
Traitor Spy Trilogy
The Farseer Trilogy
and the one I'm currently reading
Mistborn Trilogy

1984 is really good.
If you like fantasy, I really recommend The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. The first is called The Name of the Wind, and the second is called The Wise Mans Fear. Really good book, I think they're the best books I've ever read.

Yeah I always like playing with computers so I decided that this would be fun. 

Well it isn't and I really should have went to philosophy. -.-
(Just to explain philosphy is considered THE EASIEST college where I'm from and it's thought that only idiots go there. Having 2 exes there I can confirm)

Patrick Rothfuss' "The Kingkiller chronicles" are some of the best books I've ever read... HIghly recomended...
